I recorded some demos this weekend.
I went home this weekend for my friends wedding (which was a very post-worthy event in its own right) and decided to take some time holed up in my mom’s basement to record some demos. I have been writing new songs and have about 16 new ones. I recorded drums, bass, guitar, vocals, and other things, and here is a two minute taste of the sounds I have produced.
Granted it is not the most polished recording, but it is a demo nonetheless. Actually, I like the sound of a few of them. The stuff seems to be more creative than anything I was capable of before, which is good. Some of it is funny, which is good, too. Music shouldn’t be serious all the time, and hopefully I can encapsulate more of my own personality in my songs compared to others I have put out in the past.
